SP Apparels Ltd, Coimbatore, established in 1989 has firmly established itself to be a reputed name in the apparel industry within the span of two decades having fully vertically integrated manufacturing setup.

The parent company was started in 1950 under the aegis of S. PERUMAL MUDALIAR. Now the network has grown to include many more such a new companies.

Mr. P Sundararajan , Chairman & Managing Director, comes from a family involved in the textile business from Salem. He shifted his business operations from Salem to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Being a manufacturer and supplier of fabrics to Garment export companies in the 80's, he has immense knowledge about various fabrics and the ever demanding market needs. This has helped him to meet customers' expectation by delivering the right product at right time with acceptable quality levels in the Garment export business as well. Having worked with the world's leading retailers of EU and USA, he has versatile knowledge in the trends, the requirements for various brands and customers.

It is a Government of India recognized 3-Star Export House. The company has an installed capacity of 250,000 pieces per day

S.P APPARELS Ltd has its pulse on the main activity framework, namely selection of raw materials, knitting, processing and conversion to garments.

The company forayed into the Indian retail market with the acquirement of major stake in Crocodile Products Pvt. ,the Indian arm of the Singapore's Crocodile International PTE (CIPL). in the year 2007 and within a short span of time, it has already opened up 25 company-owned stores apart from the franchisee-owned outlets. The SP Apparels Retail Division has also acquired the women's wear brand Natalia in the year 2008.
